Instructions to make Bajra (pearl millet)sesame (til) tikki:
  1. Melt Jaggery in 1/2 cup water by boiling.Seive it.
  2. Take bajra flour in a bowl. Add melted jaggery and 1 tsp ghee.
  3. Add almond pdr,elaichi pdr, dessicated coconut and fried til.
  4. Make a stiff dough.
  5. Make small balls, smear hands with oil and make tikki with hands only.
  6. Fry them in oil on medium heat for 5 mts.
  7. When they turn brown take them out.
  8. Serve bajra tikkis garnishing them with grated coconut.Can be preserved for a week.
  9. They get hard when cool.So cover them as soon as they get cold.
  10. You can fry til little bit before adding or can be added raw.Fry them very carefully on slow heat.
  11. Grind elaichis with almonds for making pdr.
  12. Don't add too much jaggery, tikki may break while frying.
  13. Knead dough very well.
