  2. Sift flour, xanthum gum, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, & cinnamon together. Sift 2 more times. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
  3. Pour into 8x8 pan.
  4. Place apple slices in rows until batter is completely covered.
  5. Pour melted butter over all. Sprinkle with 2 tbsp sugar.
  6. Place in 375 degrees oven. Bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Pour heavy cream over cake.
  8. Bake for another 30 minutes or until cake is done.
